Top 5 Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Colombia Q4 2023

The fourth quarter of 2023 saw significant activity among the top Navigation and Maps apps on the Android platform in Colombia. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of the leading apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic exhibited a strong growth in downloads, starting at around 34K in late September and peaking at approximately 44K by the end of December. Weekly active users showed a steady increase, climbing from 487K to over 505K throughout the quarter.

Google Earth had a more fluctuating download pattern, beginning with 6.7K downloads in late September and dropping to around 5K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 67.8K to 60.5K over the same period.

GPS Earth Maps Live Navigation saw its downloads peak at 6.7K in the week of October 23, before declining to 3.3K by the end of December. Active users increased from 11.6K at the end of September to a high of 17.6K in late October, before stabilizing around 16.4K in December.

Google Maps maintained a relatively stable number of downloads, starting at 1.9K and ending at 2.9K. Active users remained consistent, fluctuating slightly but generally hovering around 170K to 180K throughout the quarter.

Google Maps Go saw a gradual increase in downloads, beginning at 1.4K and rising to 2.3K by the end of December. Active users experienced minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at approximately 5.4K.
